Private chef for intimate weddings in Tuscany
Not every wedding needs a caterer for two hundred. When the guest list is short and the venue is a villa, a historic residence or a farmhouse, dinner can be cooked on site by a chef, served at the table and designed only for you.
We work with Italian and international couples marrying in Tuscany, from about twenty guests up to a few dozen, coordinating with your wedding planner or directly with the family.
A wedding cooked on site
You taste the difference from a traditional caterer on the plate. The courses leave the villa's kitchen minutes before they reach the table, the pasta is made by hand, meat and fish are cooked to order. The menu comes out of a tasting with you, not a price list.
We also think about everything around the dinner: the welcome aperitivo, the dessert table, the cake cutting, a late-night snack for the guests still dancing.

Service, table setting and running the evening
The chef arrives with the floor staff your guest count needs, led by one person who follows the whole evening. We work to the timing of your programme: speeches, first dance, fireworks, music.
If you already have a wedding planner, we fit into their plan. If you don't, we help you line up the suppliers who touch the table: flowers, linen, wine.

For couples and guests coming from abroad
Many couples marrying in Tuscany fly in from abroad, and so do their guests. The team speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese, and the menu can introduce Tuscany to people tasting it for the first time, with diets, allergies and religious restrictions taken into account.
Beyond the wedding day we can look after the welcome dinner, the next-day brunch and the private dinners of the wedding week.

A sample wedding menu
Every menu starts with a tasting: this is just an example.
- Aperitivo: hot and cold finger food, seasonal crudo, sparkling wine
- Starter: garden vegetables, burrata and new olive oil
- First course: hand-made fresh pasta, filled or hand-rolled
- Main: meat or fish cooked to order, with seasonal sides
- Dessert: wedding cake and dessert table
Frequently asked questions
Up to how many guests do you work?
Our ideal format is the intimate wedding, from about twenty guests up to a few dozen, with the kitchen on site. For larger numbers we assess together whether the format works, with a dedicated brigade and staff.
Do you hold a tasting before the wedding?
Yes. The tasting is where we choose the courses and get to know your tastes. Timing and terms are agreed in the quote.
Do you work with our wedding planner?
Yes, we fit into their programme and coordinate with the other suppliers of the day.
Do you handle guests' diets and allergies?
Yes. We collect needs, allergies and restrictions in advance, religious ones included, and prepare the variants needed.
Do you also cater the welcome dinner and next-day brunch?
Yes, many couples trust us with all the food of the wedding week.
How much does a private wedding chef cost?
It depends on guests, menu, floor staff and venue. We prepare a detailed quote after a first conversation.
