A villa rented for a week, a family residence in the hills, a historic home opened for one evening to friends. In places like these a restaurant is second best: the finest kitchen is the one in the house, as long as someone knows how to use it.
We bring the chef and, when needed, the dining-room staff. We cook live in the villa's kitchen, serve at the table or in the garden and leave everything in order. For a single dinner or for every day of your stay.
One dinner or the whole stay
Some guests call us for the most important evening of the holiday, others would rather not think about meals for a whole week. In that case we build a calendar: late breakfasts, light lunches by the pool, more structured dinners in the evening, and a menu that changes day after day so nobody gets bored.
We do the shopping ourselves, from local producers whenever possible, and we coordinate with whoever manages the villa on timings, access and the kitchen. You simply find the table ready, with nothing to organise.
Kitchen, service and table setting under one direction
In a private residence there is no maître d' to turn to. That is why, alongside the chef, we can bring dining-room staff and take care of the table setting: linen, place settings, flowers, candles. One person follows the evening from start to finish.
We often work with property managers and luxury rental agencies, who call us for their guests. If you manage a villa and want to offer a chef to the people who rent it, write to us: we adapt to your standards and your schedule.
Where we work
Our base is Florence, and from there we cover the whole of Tuscany: Chianti, the Val d'Orcia, Lucca and Versilia, the coast from Bolgheri to the Argentario, the islands. Beyond the region we reach villas on Lake Como, in Liguria, on the Costa Smeralda and the Amalfi Coast, with travel agreed in the quote.
The team speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese, so with international guests the evening flows without interpreters.

Every stay has its own menu: this is just an example of how we organise a day.
- Breakfast: fruit, homemade pastries and eggs cooked to order
- Lunch: seasonal salads, fresh pasta, grilled fish or vegetables by the pool
- Aperitivo: sparkling wine, crudo or Tuscan cured meats at sunset
- Dinner: four courses built on local produce, from handmade pasta to dessert
Frequently asked questions
Do you cook in the villa's kitchen or bring ready-made dishes?
We cook everything on site, in the villa's kitchen. We arrive with the ingredients and with any equipment the kitchen may lack.
Can you look after the whole stay, not just one dinner?
Yes. For stays of several days we agree a meal calendar and a menu that changes every day, with timings that fit yours.
Do you also work for villa agencies and property managers?
Yes, it is an important part of our work. We coordinate with whoever manages the villa on access, timings and service standards.
How much does a private chef in a villa cost?
Roughly 90 to 250 euros per person for a dinner, depending on menu, number of guests and service. For stays of several days we prepare an overall quote.
Do your staff speak foreign languages?
Yes. The team speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, Russian and Portuguese.
