Private chef on the Argentario and in Porto Ercole
Monte Argentario keeps a summer rhythm of its own. Boats slip back into Porto Ercole as the sun drops, the villas look down on the sea from the headland, and dinner can last as long as you like. That dinner is what we take care of.
We bring a chef to the villas of the Argentario and on board the yachts at anchor, with fish landed that same morning at the Porto Santo Stefano market. You choose the occasion and the guests, and we handle the rest.
We work bespoke, from a quiet dinner for two to a party in a garden above the water.
Dinner with the sea in front of you
Here the cooking follows the season and the place. In summer that means raw fish, seafood cooked with a light hand, garden vegetables and dishes that sit well on a warm evening. We lay the table wherever you prefer, on the terrace above the sea, in the garden or on the jetty, and stay out of the way for the rest of the night.
People who stay on the Argentario tend to want exactly this: someone to look after the table without turning it into a production. A chef at home gives you back the time with your guests, and the kitchen is left as you found it.

On board as on shore
We also cook on board, on the yachts moored at Cala Galera or lying at anchor along the coast. A boat's galley has its own space and its own pace, and we adapt: leaner menus, courses that suit a gentle swell, everything worked out with the crew before we come aboard.
Whether you want dinner served under way at sunset or lunch at anchor in a cove, the way we work does not change. Only the view does.
Where we work
We work in Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano, across the Monte Argentario headland, at Cala Galera and along the Feniglia, in the villas and on the yachts of the area. On request we also travel towards Orbetello and the nearby coast.
How a dinner on the Argentario comes about
It all starts with an email. You tell us how many you are, the date and the evening you picture, and we reply with a tailored menu. We agree on the courses, take allergies and preferences into account and set a clear quote.
On the chosen day the chef arrives at the villa or on board with the shopping already done, cooks live and looks after the service, then clears up. Between Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano and the villas on the promontory we move with ease, and where the boat allows it we lay the table at Cala Galera too.

The sea of the Argentario on the plate
Here it starts with the catch of Porto Santo Stefano. The fish of the day is the base, from crudo to soup, and around it we bring langoustines, red prawns, Maremma oil and the white wines of the coast.
There is no fixed menu: we decide it together, on what the sea gives that morning and on your taste. A dinner on the Argentario should taste of salt and rock, not of a passing restaurant.

A sample menu on the Argentario
Every dinner is tailored: this is just an example, and it starts from the catch of the day.
- Starter: seafood crudo and red prawns
- First course: spaghetti with clams or a fish pasta
- Main: catch of the day in salt crust or grilled
- Dessert: a dessert made on the spot, with seasonal fruit
Frequently asked questions
Do you cook on board the boats in Porto Ercole?
Yes. We cook on yachts at their moorings or at anchor, adapting the menu and service to the galley. We arrange everything with the crew before the evening.
Can you get fresh fish of the day?
Yes, we buy at the Porto Santo Stefano fish market that same morning, when the boats come in. We set the seafood menu around whatever is good that day.
What kind of dinners do you cook on the Argentario in summer?
Light, sea-facing dinners, long aperitifs at sunset, tables on the terrace or in the garden. We move between raw fish, grilled seafood and garden cooking, keeping warm evenings easy.
Do you work in the headland villas and at Cala Galera?
Yes, we reach the villas of Monte Argentario and the boats at Cala Galera. Travel costs are agreed clearly beforehand.
Can you cook on board at Cala Galera or at anchor?
Yes, when the boat allows it. We arrange lunches and dinners on board, adapting to the boat's galley.
Do you work with the catch of Porto Santo Stefano?
Always, when there is one. The menu starts from the fish landed that morning, so the dinner stays tied to the sea of the Argentario.
