An anniversary dinner with the chef at home
After ten, twenty or forty years, the usual restaurant can feel like any other evening. A dinner at home, prepared and served just for the two of you, tastes different: no neighbouring tables, no closing times, your own music.
We build the menu around you, the dishes that remind you of something and the wine you want to open. The chef cooks in your kitchen and brings the courses to the table one after another, then clears up and leaves the evening to you.
A menu that tells your story
We like to start from a simple question: where have you eaten well together? A trip, the trattoria of your first date, the dish one of you cooks best. From there comes a menu that makes sense only for you, with a thread running through the courses.
If you would rather not think about it, we propose a tasting of four or five seasonal courses, with wine paired glass by glass.
The table and the atmosphere
A romantic dinner also lives in the details. We can take care of the table setting, candles and flowers, and decide with you whether to lay the table in the living room, on the terrace or in the garden. If it is a surprise, we agree everything with whoever is organising it and arrive unseen.
We also look after marriage proposals and vow renewals with the same care: the moment is yours, we stay a step behind.
Where and when
We work in Florence, in the centre and on the hills, and across Tuscany, from the villas of Chianti to the coast. If you are celebrating on holiday, we come to the house or villa where you are staying, outside the region too.
For the busiest dates, such as Valentine's Day and spring weekends, it is worth writing to us a few weeks ahead.
A sample anniversary menu
Every dinner is tailored: this is just an example of a tasting for two.
- Welcome: a glass of sparkling wine and a small bite
- Starter: seafood crudo or a seasonal starter
- First course: handmade fresh pasta, such as tagliolini with truffle in the right season
- Main: fish of the day or fillet, with seasonal sides
- Dessert: a spoon dessert designed for the occasion

Can you prepare a surprise anniversary dinner?
Yes. We agree timings, access to the house and details in advance with whoever is organising the surprise, so we arrive unnoticed.
Do you also cook for a single couple?
Of course, dinner for two is one of the formats we look after most often, with the same level of service as a larger dinner.
Can you take care of flowers and candles?
Yes, we can look after the table setting, from flowers to candles, together with the menu.
Do you also arrange marriage proposals?
Yes. We pace the dinner and the service so that the moment of the proposal stays yours, without interruptions.
How much does an anniversary dinner with a private chef cost?
It depends on menu and service: roughly 90 to 250 euros per person. We send you a clear quote before confirming.
