San Gimignano has the only white DOCG of Tuscany, Vernaccia, and a dinner here can turn around it: starters of the land, local saffron, wild boar and pici, Valdelsa cheeses. We build the menu on the pairings, and if you already have the bottles we start from those.

It all begins with a couple of lines by email. You tell us how many you will be, when, and the kind of evening you picture, and we come back with a proposal made to measure. We agree on the dishes, keep allergies and preferences in mind and set a clear price before anything starts.
On the chosen day the chef arrives with the selected ingredients and cooks in front of you, in whatever kitchen he finds, whether in a flat in town or a farmhouse out among the vines. He looks after the service to the last course and then leaves everything in order, as if no one had been there.
What San Gimignano brings to the table
Here the menu is dictated by the land. The Vernaccia opens the evening with its edge, the DOP saffron grown around the town colours a risotto or lifts a delicate dish, and then come hand-rolled pici, slow-cooked wild boar and the pecorino cheeses of the Siena hills.
We do not serve the same script to everyone: we choose the ingredients by the season and by what you like, and if you wish we build the pairing with the local wines. A dinner beneath the towers should carry the taste of this place, not of any restaurant.
