Florence is best enjoyed from inside a home rather than at a booked table. We lay the table on the terrace of a penthouse with a view over the rooftops and the bell tower, in the hall of a historic residence, in the courtyard of a palazzo. We cook with what is in your kitchen and leave everything in order at the end of the evening, while you stay with your guests.
It is the format for the occasions you want to keep to yourself: a dinner for two, a proposal, a birthday, or simply an evening when a restaurant is not enough.
The cooking, between tradition and the high end
Florentine cooking has dishes that do not need reinventing, only treating well: the right steak, the old first courses, seasonal vegetables. Around these we build a menu that can rise as high as you like, up to fine dining, with produce from the Sant'Ambrogio and Central markets and the wines of Chianti.
If you like, we bring a tasting to the table, with the Tuscan reds or the bottles from your own cellar. We design the menu around you, not around a price list.
